Canada, Ontario: Coronavirus Covid-19 deaths: 37



Ontario associate chief medical officer of health Dr. Barbara Yaffe said on Wednesday that 426 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 have been confirmed. This creates the total number of cases of 2,392 in the Ontario province. The death toll in Ontario becomes 37. The total number of resolved cases is 689, almost 30 per cent of Ontario cases.

Ontario chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams said that some people in the province had been issued warnings under Section 22 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act to enforce isolation orders. This virus is certainly a serious issue and should not be taken lightly.

According to Ontario’s website, the numbers males and females diagnosed with COVID-19 is about 50% and 50%.

Deaths: 111
Recovered: 1,528

  1. These "apocalyptic predictions" are frightening. Most people that get the Coronavirus Covid-19, feel some kind of mild symptoms and then recover. Unfortunately, other patients die within weeks. It's unfortunate that not much is known about this new virus.

    Ontario government has revealed projection numbers for the province to be just under 1,600 COVID-19 deaths and 80,000 cases by the end of April, if the current measures in place are upheld.

    The data also indicated that Ontario would have seen 300,000 cases of COVID-19 and 6,000 deaths by the end of the month if there was no government action or intervention.
