Funny Animals - Geese Near Cars

Canadian geese sure walk around everywhere and come close to cars and people. They bend down their long neck to eat green grass or drink water from puddles. They are not scared of anything. They walk on grass, car lanes, pedestrian roads, earth and swim in lakes. After getting enough rest, they decide to fly. The amazing animals fly together in beautiful formations.

Geese should be scared of some animals, such as: wolves, eagles, bears, raccoons and foxes. Geese are usually most vulnerable during their nesting season. Eggs and goslings are more vulnerable than adult geese. More animals hunt eggs and goslings.

Goose (plural geese) is the general English name for many long-necked birds, belonging to the family Anatidae. Geese migrate in groups in the spring and fall, flying together in a V-shape. A male goose is called a "gander" and a baby goose is called a "gosling". A group of geese is called a "gaggle".

In theory, geese should be scared of raccoons. There are many raccoons in Toronto. In reality, I think geese don't care about anything. These geese just don't get bothered by any animals.

Funny Animals - Geese on Grass Near Vehicles

Geese walk around on the green grass and go near vehicles. Canadian geese walk over everything. Sometimes they walk alone by themselves. Sometimes they walk in pairs. Sometimes they walk in groups of 10 or 20. They sure fly together in interesting formations. Amazing geese are not scared of anything.

Funny Animals - Goose in Driving Lane

These Canadian geese sure walk on the grass, car lanes and the pedestrian road. They really walk over everything. They walk in the parking lot and in between cars. They even walk near moving cars. They walk nearby people. Sometime a goose will chase after you if you get too close to it.

Funny Animals - Goose at Mandarin

This goose in the Mandarin parking lot just keeps walking alone. It doesn't move away for cars or anything. Looks like nothing scares these Canadian geese. It doesn't like to fly. It just keeps walking.

Tunisia coronavirus death toll is 48

Tunisia Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 48. Tunisia has total confirmed virus cases of 1,051.

Tunisian Ministry of Interior deployed the locally-made P-Guard (Pearl-Guard) robots to implement nationwide lockdown procedures in Tunis amid the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. This footage released on March 25 is pretty interesting.

The hi-tech robots are controlled by security officers operating from an operation room at the Ministry of Interior through surveillance cameras. A security officer asks citizens to show permits that allow them to walk the streets during the curfew.

There is also a robot that works inside hospitals. A robot has been deployed in a Tunisian hospital caring for coronavirus victims to limit contact between staff and infected patients. This is an impressive first for the North African country. The robot is mounted on wheels and is capable of taking pulses and checking temperatures and blood oxygen levels.

Burkina Faso coronavirus death toll is 52

Burkina Faso Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 52. Burkina Faso has total confirmed virus cases of 832.

Burkina Faso is trying to contain COVID-19 and prevent further spread of the virus.

The government last month ordered citizens to wear masks and gave them more than a week to prepare. However, few people have complied with this order.

Authorities ordered a curfew at some point, but it was later relaxed. Schools were scheduled to reopen last week. However, they were ordered to stay closed until June 1.

The daily new Coronavirus Covid-19 cases seem to be decreasing now in Burkina Faso. The country plans to ramp up testing for the coronavirus. The pandemic is expected to continue for months.

African nations are weaker at creating greater virus-testing ability. Wealthy nations such as the USA and China are bidding for many of the same stockpiles of testing kits.

More places have been allowed to reopen: various factories, hairdressers and beauty salons. All reopened businesses certainly have to comply with safety requirements set by the Ministry of Health.

Physical distancing sure needs to continue between people. Many places are being disinfected. Hand sanitizers are often used. Many places check temperature of people. Wearing face masks and gloves is obligatory for some types of employees, such as waiters.

Estonia coronavirus death toll is 64

Estonia Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 64. Estonia has total confirmed virus cases of 1,823.

A certain European island off the coast of Estonia has been labeled by locals as 'corona island.’ This happened after it became the hotspot for the Coronavirus Covid-19 and was placed into strict quarantine.

The first Covid-19 cases on the island of Saaremaa emerged a month ago after a sports event was held there with a team from Italy.

Now health officials estimate that half of the island's population have contracted the virus. Watch the BBC News story about how the island is responding to the situation.

Estonia has also begun testing one of the world's first digital immunity passports in order to help restart its economy.

The passports will certainly allow the country's inhabitants to show their coronavirus test results to third parties, like employers and restaurants, using a temporary QR code on their phone.

Other countries and businesses around the world also want to develop similar immunity checks.

Canada Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 6,466. Canada has total confirmed virus cases of 85,149.

Some businesses started adding COVID-19 "surcharges" to help themselves recover from losses due to the Coronavirus Covid-19.

Provinces such as Ontario and Quebec are going ahead with plans to ease COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

There are still concerns about capacity for testing and tracking the spread of the virus.

Earlier in the week, the Quebec government began allowing people to gather outdoors in groups of up to 10, from a maximum of three households.

Ontario entered Stage 1 of its framework to reopen the economy on Tuesday. This gives the green light for retail stores outside of shopping malls with street entrances to reopen with physical distancing measures. Golf courses, marinas and private parks were also allowed to reopen.

As of Saturday, labs across Canada have tested 1,429,000 people for COVID-19, with about five per cent of these testing positive, Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said.

Finland coronavirus death toll is 300

Finland's Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 300. Finland has total confirmed virus cases of 6,380.

Finland (one of the world’s best-funded welfare states) is having difficulties with the virus. The fallout of the Coronavirus Covid-19 triggers mass unemployment.

Finland’s system of jobless benefits can’t cope with the sudden surge in demand, the country’s biggest unemployment fund, YTK, said.

A large number of Finns may have to wait until next year to get their first benefit payment, YTK said.

Benefit applications take time to be processed. YTK is expecting "a flood" of more than 100,000 applications through April. That’s double the number it would process during an average year. Even if it triples staff, people would still face a three-month wait for their jobless benefit, YTK said. That exceeds the legal limit of 30 days.
