  1. Norway, Russia border closed for normal traffic until at least August 20

Norway’s closed borders to foreign nationals will apply until August 20th, but a special law certainly might keep non-Nordic borders closed until January 1, 2021.

There is almost no traffic over the land border after both Russian and Norwegian officials in March decided to create strict entry and exit control following the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. Only diplomats, truck-drivers, and a few crew members on fishing vessels are exempted from the strict travel ban.

    1. Norway's numbers are sure small compared to other countries.

Very low mortality rate from Coronavirus Covid-19 in Norway compared to other countries.

The mortality rate in Norway from Covid-19 is approximately 0.45 per cent. This is sure extremely low when compared to other countries in the world where the Coronavirus Covid-19 is widespread.

Italy’s mortality rate from the coronavirus is almost 10 per cent.

Spain’s mortality rate is almost 7 per cent.

United Kingdom's mortality rate is 5 per cent.

In Norway’s neighbouring countries, Denmark and Sweden, the mortality rate due to the coronavirus is 2 per cent and 1.6 per cent, respectively.

All these figures are from the EU's Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) as of Wednesday March 25, 2020.
