India is on Day 50 of the Coronavirus Covid-19 Lockdown. India reported a spike of 3,525 COVID-19 cases and 122 deaths on Wednesday. The total number of cases is now 78,055. Total number of deaths is 2,551.
In India: Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu continue to have the most number of confirmed cases.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a major stimulus package for micro, small and medium enterprises.
India says it is committing $266 billion to help its economy during the coronavirus pandemic.
