Cameroon coronavirus death toll is 159



Cameroon Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 159. Cameroon has total confirmed virus cases of 4,400.

The Central African country of Cameroon cancels national day (May 20) festivities due to the Coronavirus Covid-19 preventive measures.

Everyone in the country is encouraged to fully participate in the fight against COVID-19.

It's important to observe coronavirus preventive measures such as wearing face masks, social distancing, and frequent hand washing.

  1. Cameroon also has to watch out for disasters like landslides.

    This landslide happened last year. Rescue teams scoured rubble of damaged homes for survivors after landslide in Bafoussam as governor put death toll at 34.

    Dozens of people have died following a landslide caused by torrential rainfall in the western Cameroon city of Bafoussam.
