Tunisia coronavirus death toll is 48

Tunisia Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 48. Tunisia has total confirmed virus cases of 1,051.

Tunisian Ministry of Interior deployed the locally-made P-Guard (Pearl-Guard) robots to implement nationwide lockdown procedures in Tunis amid the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. This footage released on March 25 is pretty interesting.

The hi-tech robots are controlled by security officers operating from an operation room at the Ministry of Interior through surveillance cameras. A security officer asks citizens to show permits that allow them to walk the streets during the curfew.

There is also a robot that works inside hospitals. A robot has been deployed in a Tunisian hospital caring for coronavirus victims to limit contact between staff and infected patients. This is an impressive first for the North African country. The robot is mounted on wheels and is capable of taking pulses and checking temperatures and blood oxygen levels.
