Germany coronavirus death toll is 8,752

Germany Coronavirus Covid-19 death toll has reached 8,752. Germany has total confirmed virus cases of 186,522.

It is unfortunate that Germany has one of the highest numbers of Coronavirus Covid-19 cases in Europe. However, Germany's death rate is significantly lower than its neighboring countries. CNBC’s Timothyna Duncan explores the strategies that Germany has employed to manage the spread of the disease.

Germany has extended travel warnings for 160 countries. Warnings urging against "non-essential travel" to dozens of non-EU countries have been extended until August 31. Within the areas of Europe, Germany will lift its border controls on June 15, allowing travelers once again to enter freely.

  1. Germany now has deaths from Coronavirus Covid-19: 9,003 deaths.

Germany’s Coronavirus Covid-19 reproduction rate unfortunately sees sharp rise, sparking concerns.

Germany’s coronavirus reproduction rate jumped to 2.88 on Sunday, up from 1.79 a day earlier, health authorities certainly said, a rate showing infections are rising above the actual level needed to contain the disease over the longer term of time.

The rise brings with it the unfortunate possibility of renewed restrictions on activity in Europe’s largest economy — a blow to a country that so far had widely been seen as successful in curbing the coronavirus Covid-19 virus spread and keeping the death toll relatively low and minimal.
