Funny Goose Near Fire Hydrant
This goose keeps eating grass near the fire hydrant. A fire hydrant is a useful connection point by which firefighters can tap into a water supply. It is certainly a component of active fire protection. Interestingly, underground fire hydrants have been used in Europe and Asia since at least the 18th century. Above-ground pillar-type hydrants are a 19th-century invention.
An obstruction to a fire hydrant can be deemed as anything that inhibits the use of the Hydrant by firefighters. Obstructions can be considered as, but not limited to: animals, trees, shrubs, parked cars nearby or other landscaping enhancements.
