An interesting video describes Megaquake Japan Earthquake on Thursday - Massive 7.0 Magnitude. This powerful earthquake hit Northern Japan. There was no tsunami danger. This happened beneath the Kuril Islands (between Hokkaido and Kamchatka). This was felt widely across northern Japan. There were no reports of serious damage or injuries. It happened from deep below the ocean.

    The fact that there were no reports of damage or injuries is is serendipity (the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way).
